For the past 20 years, the Top Guns Awards program has celebrated retailers who are pillars of innovation and forward-thinking and have helped grow their businesses through strategic leadership with consideration for their communities, their teams and the industry.

Now in its 30th year, the Young Retailer of the Year Awards program identifies and promotes the next generation of aspiring independent home improvement retailers. The program recognizes individual achievement by industry retailers age 35 and younger throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Launched in 2013, the Beacon Awards honor innovation, leadership and service in the independent home improvement industry. Awards include the Retail Beacon Awards, which recognize individuals and companies for sustained excellence and lasting contributions to the industry; Best New Store honors that celebrate exceptional new or remodeled retail environments; and the Digital Beacon Awards, recognizing leadership in social media, e-commerce and online engagement.

Celebrating its 60th year in 2026, the Retailers’ Choice Awards recognize the most creative and innovative products of the year. Chosen by a panel of independent retailers, Retailers’ Choice winners represent the best of the best products that are sure to be bestsellers in any home improvement operation.
